The Alaska Sealife Center strives to maintain the delicate ecosystem of Alaskan marine life through a four-pronged plan that involves research, rehabilitation, public education, and exhibits. Visitors to the center will have an opportunity to see a 2000+ pound sea lion, puffins, a giant octopus, and other exhibits showing marine life from the Gulf of Alaska. The center is located just south of the city beside Resurrection Bay.
